Designers on Holiday 2019

As part of this two week residency program on the Swedish Island of Gotland we built a textile-based micro cabin based on the world war I ‘dazzle’ camouflage technique. The rosy pink is dyed with Gotlandic Juniper.

A corresponding quilt and pillowslips were botanically dyed with juniper, avocado, rose hip, and carrot top.

Concept and construction were in collaboration with the Designers on Holiday team.
