It’s a long weekend here in the UK, and when this goes out on Monday morning I will be in a lasagne-red-wine coma from my first ever (annual? We’ll see how it goes.) Lasagne Party.

Then I’m going to Carnival.

I bought this Greek god candle mould but instead of using it to make candles I made a statue out of butter. It has made every slice of toast I’ve eaten this week feel very silly and very serious in equal parts.
